The Lanner HybridTCA converged infrastructure comes pre-integrated with Intel Xeon CPUs, network switches and storage. The hardware convergence saves 2U of space compared to generic server solutions, and the interior connection within the servers reduces manual cable connection error and simplifies maintenance.

From power supplies, fans, controllers, to main boards, the Lanner HybridTCA solutions adopt a modular design to simplify maintenance complexity and provide fast, precise technical support and RMA services. Cable-less design eliminates problems associated with cable connections and offers hot-swappability and a high level of serviceability.

Lanner’s HLM-1030B/C HybridTCA supports an IEEE 1588 expansion module. IEEE 1588 defines the protocols to synchronize the clocks of two hierarchical computing systems, a master and a slave. Unlike traditional network time protocol (NTP) with synchronization at a few milliseconds, IEEE 1588 achieves a time precision within tens of nanoseconds. The implementation of IEEE 1588 is particular important in synchronizing the clocks of various applications and services within a computer network infrastructure. In a global-scale enterprise IT network, where services and applications can be highly distributed across the globe, IEEE 1588 can synchronize the clocks between branch offices and headquarters to ensure the records of operations in the same hierarchical orchestrations.

The Lanner HTCA-6600 HybridTCA features 6 CPU blades in the rear, with each blade supporting up to 2 Intel Xeon E5-2600 v3/v4 CPUs and 16x DDR4. 6 swappable I/O blades on the front support up to 2x Switch blades or 6x Ethernet blades.
