The TAILYN IMP2-PLMseries is designed with consideration to comply with IEC 60945, UL 61010-1, and ISA 12.12.01 (Class I, Div 2, Groups A–D) / CSA 22.2 No. 213 (Class I, Div 2, Groups A–D), ensuring dependable operation under harsh environmental and electrical conditions. The enclosure offers IP42 or IP67 protection (optional), allowing users to select the appropriate protection level based on application requirements, and provides resistance against dust, moisture, and vibration in demanding environments.

The IMP2-PLM510H-8E2T and IMP2-PLM810H-8E2T models provide two Gigabit Ethernet M12 X-code copper ports with bypass functionality, four Fast Ethernet M12 D-code PoE ports compliant with IEEE 802.3af, and four Fast Ethernet M12 D-code PoE ports compliant with IEEE 802.3at. They support isolated dual power inputs within a wide 24 to 110 VDC range, and include Bypass Relay functions to maintain network connectivity during power interruptions.

The IMP2-PLM510H-8E2T model offers Layer 2 managed functions, while the IMP2-PLM810H-8E2T model adds Layer 3 routing and redundancy capabilities, enabling flexible network configuration for various railway communication topologies. Enhanced network security, redundancy, and traffic management features ensure stable and efficient data transmission. With a rugged wall-mountable design, the IMP2-PLM Series provides a versatile and reliable networking platform for rolling stock, maritime, and other industrial control systems.
