Moxa Uc 8200

A new series of wireless-ready IIoT gateways, the UC-8200 Series, has been added to its offering of Arm-based industrial computers.

The new units include fanless computers with Arm Cortex-A7 dual-core 1 GHz processors designed for operations in harsh environments with wide temperatures ranging from -40 to 85°C (-40 to 185°F).

Dual serial ports, dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, 4 DIs, 4 DOs, and 1 CAN port as well as dual mPCIe and dual SIM slots support redundant Wi-Fi/cellular connectivity, and enable users to efficiently deploy the UC-8200 in a variety of complex communication scenarios in IIoT applications. To address the need for longevity in industrial-automation projects, the UC-8200 Series is backed with a solid 5-year hardware warranty and 10-year long-term support.

The UC-8200 computers provide built-in cellular connectivity to LTE Cat. 4 networks with dual SIM slots for redundancy and integrated GPS for location tracking; Wi-Fi connectivity can be enabled via expansion modules.

IIoT gateways play an important role in collecting data from edge devices and transferring field data to a cloud database. Featuring a range of communication interfaces such as Gigabit Ethernet ports, RS-232/422/485 serial ports, CAN port, and DI/DOs, these IIoT gateways make it easy to connect your existing field equipment to the cloud.
