At SPS 2024, Softing Industrial Automation will showcase innovative solutions for optimizing connectivity in industrial production. The focus will be on products that enable secure and flexible data exchange between machines and systems, facilitating seamless OT/IT integration and connectivity to edge and cloud platforms.

A key highlight is the new OPC UA Information Modeling functionality, which Softing has integrated into its edge products and the Secure Integration Server (SIS). This ensures a unified data structure, leading to greater interoperability between different devices and systems, increased efficiency, and enhanced security in data integration.

Softing will also introduce the latest addition to its edge product family, the edgeGate. This maintenance-free hardware gateway enables seamless integration of production data into management systems and can be used in both new and existing installations.

In addition, Softing will present its aplSwitch Field for the process industry. This switch facilitates seamless Ethernet connectivity from the application to the field level and is specifically designed for use in Ex-Zone 2.
